Road Atlanta!

Road Atlanta is s a 2.54-mile road course located in Braselton, Georgia, Indiana, USA. The track has 12 turns, including the famous "esses" between turns three and five, and Turn 12, a downhill, diving turn. This racetrack has seen a fair amount of crashes due to its technicality of the course. One of the greatest crashes was when a Porsche 911 GT1 backflipped and flew into the side barriers!

Silverstone Circuit

The Silverstone Circuit is located Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, England. Silverstone Circuit is 3.194 miles long, and has 17 turns. Mostly just F1 racecars race here. One raceday in april it had finished raining, So the main parking area which consists of grass was turned into a giant mudbath. So most of the people actually came in on Helicopters, which made Silverstone raceway airport the busiest airport in the UK for the day.

Tsukuba Circuit

So while we were visiting in Japan I remembered that I really wanted to go see the Tsukuba Circuit! The track has a huge variety of corners ranging from wide sweepers to hairpins. There is room for 8500 spectators at the track, 3000 in the stands, 5000 on lawn seats and a further 500 standing over the pits.
Here is the pit area where the racers and their pit crew work on there cars before, during, and after races:

The Bullet train system

So while In Tokyo, I remembered that this is the town of the famous "Bullet train" system. This train system was quite amazing to me. The first train to be on the tracks was able to reach about 130 mph. This trains safety record is simply amazing. There has been only 1 derailment October 23, 2004 which was caused by an earthquake. Of the 154 passengers absolutely none died. there has been only one fatality which was cause by a door closing on a passenger.
